Camera Lucida: The Park Bench

Julia at My Red Page has chosen the theme of The Park Bench for her Camera Lucida theme this week.

My entry is a photo taken during an  early morning walk through the village of Bagnoregio, Italy. The smell of baking bread and lemon trees filled the air.

    how they promise,

conjure, appeal, menace, pray,

supplicate, refuse, beckon, interrogate, admire, confess,

cringe, instruct, command,

        mock and what not besides,

with a variation and multiplication

of variation which makes the tongue envious.”

  1. I’ve got to “hand” it to you, this is a most unique bench… 😉 I love how you describe that it feels like you are being gently held…I would love to experience that.
