Julia at My Red Page has chosen the theme of The Park Bench for her Camera Lucida theme this week.
My entry is a photo taken during an early morning walk through the village of Bagnoregio, Italy. The smell of baking bread and lemon trees filled the air.
how they promise,
conjure, appeal, menace, pray,
supplicate, refuse, beckon, interrogate, admire, confess,
cringe, instruct, command,
mock and what not besides,
with a variation and multiplication
of variation which makes the tongue envious.”
― Michel de Montaigne

THIS!!! Love this! It’s like all of the magic and romance that I’ve fantasized about with Italy captured perfectly with a photo and a poem. ❤

I’ve always found hands fascinating but a chair one? (is that a chair?) That’s new too me 🙂

A bench to sit upon. And it was actually quite comfortable. A sense of being gently held.
