“That old September feeling, left over from school days, of summer passing, vacation nearly done, obligations gathering, books and football in the air … Another fall, another turned page: there was something of jubilee in that annual autumnal beginning, as if last year’s mistakes had been wiped clean by summer.”
― Wallace Stegner, Angle of Repose

Autumn is my favorite season, but the leaves won’t start changing where I am for a few weeks or so. Thanks for sharing yours!

Thank you Lynz. What I like about them is that the colors are the actual colors. Nothing but nature magic in play here!

You nailed it. Really love the super heroes in the corn field. And Judy Collins voice is so soothing just speaking and then she sings, it’s like an angel.
Have you ever been to New England in the autumn? Many people travel just for the foliage, we call them ‘leaf peepers’. When people ask if I miss America it’s the weather that I find myself reminiscing about.

No, I have not been to New England for the leaves. Isn’t it just wonderful this gift from the trees each year? So glad you enjoyed my post. All my best to you and your lovely family.

I love autumn colours. We don’t have four seasons where I live currently. I used to live in Australia for couple years, and I loved seeing the leaves turn. Hues of red, orange, yellow. So lovely. Thanks for sharing these photos with us!
