What fun to look back through the year’s photographs. So many ‘favorites’ and the opportunity to pause and recall many an excellent moment from this almost gone year. Have enjoyed sharing so many of those moments through photographs with you.

Great photos! Also, I notice you like Walt Whitman … He rephrased his “Leaves of Grass” so many times, but this is my favorite (in part) and my life’s motto:
“I am a part of every person I have ever met
And what I assume, you assume
But I separate myself and sing myself
And we are but ‘LEAVES OF GRASS’…”

Indeed I do embrace Walt Whitman. Have read a few passages from Leaves of Grass every morning for many years. Thank you for your kind words, happy you enjoyed the photos. All my best to you.

I’ve enjoyed your photos from around Sedona and the Southwest, Johanna. There are many that I recognize from my own journeys through the state. The fox on your wall is my favorite! Looking forward to what you post in 2018. –Curt

Gorgeous shots! I’ve got a yellow tree JUST LIKE THAT! 🙂 Love those bottles in the window. Stunning capture. I’d make it into cards and send those out!

You just go right ahead and make those cards Joey. The colors are of the Chakras ((in Indian thought) each of the centers of spiritual power in the human body, usually considered to be seven in number.
, and there is a prayer to go with them beginning with Red at the base of the spine and working towards the crown of the head : Red- I am, Orange- I feel, Yellow- I do, Green- I love, Blue- I speak, Purple- I see, White- I understand.
Hey, it’s almost a New Year, Joey. Let’s have a really magnificent 2018. XOX- JoHanna

I do chakra meditation, that’s why they appeal to me — but even still, SO PRETTY! 🙂
All the best to you in 2018! xo
