Trying To Be Normal

“If you are always trying to be normal,
You will never know how amazing you can be.”
Maya Angelou

Up early to spend some time in the Fay Canyon area.  Has always held a holy feel to it. The two mile trail in is worn, overused, and abused by too many visitors who walk where they will, gather for parties, and disregard requests to remain on the trail,  tread lightly on this fragile high desert ecosystem, and the idea of packing out trash forgotten.

The air is very cool, bird drama as babies learn to fly, ravens welcome us , the sun rising and casting light through trees, rocks spirals, and crevices to create light dancers. They sway with the trees in the light breeze that is really Fay Canyon breathing…

Put the camera away, checked the compass, water, where the sun is and disappeared.
